  • HelloRent
    HelloRent.com is a Web Application built specifically to make searching for an apartment easier. The front-end is built with javascript, using JQuery and the Google Maps API. This project required high performance javascript code and AJAX in order to create the real time filtering and clustering. On the back-end, it required a screen scraper to gather data, and a task-based system for interpreting, geocoding, and caching the data into a grid system for AJAX requests.   • simpleCart(js)
    simpleCart(js) is an open-source javascript shopping cart. It allows web designers to create an online shopping cart very easily, by using only html. It requires no databases or programming knowledge, and currently works with PayPal and GoogleCheckout. I built it in a way that was easy to set up, but allowed for many customizations. It is framework independent, and is an ongoing project. It has received over 50,000 downloads since its creation in November of 2008. Javascript

    Motionspire.com is a motion graphics inspiration gallery that we developed internally at The Wojo Group. I used our custom CMS, Backbone, to develop the Admin system for video management.     Backbone is a CMS I built in Ruby on Rails to use for client sites. It implemented a simple and flexible Model system that allowed clients to edit any part of their website, as well as view statistics.   • Michigan Leisure Tshirt Store
    Michigan Leisure Shirt Store is an online store I built to sell shirts for the Michigan Leisure Club, using simpleCart(js) as a proof of concept.   • 1000 Pitches
    1000 Pitches is a pitch competition at the University of Michigan. The Wojo Group created a new brand identity and website for the 2009 competition. For this project, I developed a video submission system that tied into a custom WordPress plugin, allowing the competition coordinators to view, rate, and edit submitted pitches. I also helped develop a Flash application called "Cloud Cluster", which allowed visitors to visualize, filter, and vote for videos.
